FAQs

Who owns the app?

You do. The iOS app appears in the App Store under your name – Apple requires this for apps built on platforms like ours. We help you set up the developer account and then take care of publishing and updates. For Android, you can use your own account or ours.

What do I need to get started?

Your stream (HTTPS), your logo and a few sentences about your station. The assistant will ask for everything else step by step.

Can I keep working with WordPress?

Yes. With our plugin, you can manage your app, push notifications and Alexa directly in WordPress – or use our portal. If you like, we can also host your entire station website.

Where does “Now playing” come from?

From your stream (ICY metadata), from providers such as streamABC or directly from your playout system via our API.

How long does it take to get the app?

You’ll usually receive an Android test app the same day. Publishing in the stores depends on review by Apple and Google, which typically takes a few days.

Where is the data stored?

On servers in Germany. Push notifications are delivered via Firebase Cloud Messaging. You’ll receive a DPA together with your contract.
